Ok. For those interested on going to thailand. flight is out of the question, because even with the airasia discount we will be paying about 350rm for return if we take flight.
Latest info i found out from KTM is tht they have a direct train to Hatyai. Estimated travel time about 14 hours. SLEEPING COACH FOR LOWER BED IS ABOUT RM57 (one way)
From Hatyai, we can take a bus to Phuket about 6 hours estimated travel time. (i need to check on bus ticket price but it won't cost that much)
Nothing much to do in Hatyai, unless you wanna have good massage and shopping spree, so i would suggest 1 night in Hatyai, nexy dau we leave to Phuket. stay there for 1-2 nights and return. what's you'll say
