GURU is a forthcoming Hindi film to be directed by Mani Ratnam after YUVA /AYUTHA EZHUTHU . It stars Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai,Madhavan and Vidya Balan in pivotal roles. Madhavan is starring opposite Vidya Balan. The movie also stars Mallika Sherawat in a cameo which plays a significant part in the narrative of the film and Mithun Chakraborty in a supporting role. The movie will also be dubbed in Tamil and Telugu. The film's score and soundtrack will be composed by Isai Puyal A.R. Rahman as usual.According to Gulzar, the lyricist of the film, the music in the film will be very different. Cinematography for the movie is handled by Rajiv Menon, who has worked with Mani Ratnam previously as cinematographer in the film Bombay. The movie has been said to be a matured love story. It is set to start shooting sometime in April or May 2006 in London & Mumbai and is slated for a November 2006 release.
