Everybody knows Rajnikanth is the highest paid actor in India, and he is said to be the second highest paid actor in Asia, next only to Jackie Chan.
Sources said that he got around Rs.20 crores for 'Chandramukhi', while other Tamil actors like Kamal commands only Rs.5 to 7 crores per film, Vijay gets 4 crores, Ajith gets 3.5 crores and so on. However, Rajini has a surprise for everyone this time around.
His magnum opus 'Sivaji', produced under AVM banner is even bigger than 'Chandramukhi'. So, everybody would wonder how much he would be paid. However, the truth tells another story. He has not spoken about his fee to the producer yet.Surprisingly, AVM Saravanan has revealed that Rajini has received only Rs.1, 500 for his role so far though major portion of the film has been completed.
