*Objective*
The CON-CAN Movie Festival, organized by the CON-CAN Media Plaza,
Tokyo, Japan, is an audience-interactive online international short
film festival which aims 1.) to discover hidden creative talent
from all over the world and 2.) to enable image creators and a
global audience to share the underlying messages and sheer
creativity expressed in profound short film productions.
Selected movies will be distributed free via internet streaming on
CON-CAN's audience-interactive website with English/Japanese
subtitles.


*Entry Eligibility*
Films/Videos up to 20 min. in length, in any language, regardless
of production date
Applicants may apply to the most suitable section from the
following three sections:
- Fiction
- Animation
- Documentary

- Cash prize of US$10,000
- Plaque
- Travel & accommodation expenses (2 nights) to attend the
Award-Giving Ceremony in Tokyo, Japan (late October, 2007)

[Tamashii Awards (for 2 movies)]
- Cash prize of US$2,000
- Plaque
- Travel & accommodation expenses (2 nights) to attend the Award-Giving
Ceremony in Tokyo, Japan (late October, 2007)


[Global Audience Awards]
- Fiction (for 2 movies): Cash prize of US$1,000
- Animation (for 1 movie): Cash prize of US$1,000
- Documentary (for 1 movie): Cash prize of US$1,000
